I am about to apply for a amazon Visa card and chargeb$1,200 in pedals off of eBay. I am about $5,000 in debt already. This is a bad idea but I kinda don't care. I will end all gas that I have and will get everything paid off within 3 years. Should I do it?

That sounds like the worst idea ever.
GAS never ends.

I wouldn't do it. I've charged pedals before and totally regret it. It's not worth paying interest on things like that. Save that shit for medical expenses.

This. Look at it as a GAS litmus test - if the GAS lasts long enough for you to save the money to buy the pedal(s) in question, it was meant to be. If not, no harm done.

dude dont do it
youll get the same amount of pleasure
from one pedal
as you will with 5 at a time
i just experienced this
spread it out
buy one, show it some love for a bit
then go for another
if you blow your wad
because you dont want to pass up a good deal
your gonna kick yerself when a better one comes up next week
gas is forever
i have"my perfect rig"
but easily could replace every pedal with somethin i want
relax homey

Bro, that Amazon card has like 24% APR. Do not get. Unless they're still giving you like $60 in Amazon credit for signing up. I literally got one for the credit and cut it up after.

^damn dude...yea do not get that...u will end paying waay more for this shit than u normally would have, and as time passes who knows if u will feel the same way about the gear as u do today...
wouldnt it be wack to be paying off some pedals that u no longer use or like? or maybe even dont own anymore?

Cool pedals. Still not worth it though IMO.

Yep. All very GAS-worthy pedals, for sure. Still agreeing with jwar on this one, though.

Dude, I have done this a bit and I have learned. Sold the pedal I bought on credit, bought another pedal, paid a ton of interest. 24% APR is a RIP OFF. I get crazy over gear sometimes, what I have learned is that because I think it, that doesn't mean it is reality or that I have to do it. Also, eventually doing stuff like this will bite you in the ass most likely someday.
I agree with Jeremy, save up the money, and if you want it, then get it.
Or sell all the shit you have right now, buy that new stuff you want. I play this game often enough. THen I keep half the new stuff and rebuy some of the old stuff.

Yeah, I love pedals, but going some 1500 into debt for them is a really, really bad idea. Especially at high APR.
Don't do it, man. Go sell sperm or plasma or whatever if you really can't wait and save up.

Let me tap into my Pomeranian-Hat of tomorrow's wisdom-I'm sensing that youuuuuuu have bad GAS and would seek to end it. If this path is taken, all pedals purchased with 24% APR will wind up on Ebag or b/s/t to pay for a few month's worth of credit card payments. Someone with an "O" in their name told me. This mystery-"O" says this is typical of you, and that you should have learned by now. Also, your bike's in the basement of the Alamo. Also pt. II, the first sentence of this reading was free. Each word after is like 10.00 per. PM me for my paypal info.
