KUNG FU flix.

I LOVE the genre.
Everything from the cheesy 70's fly-by-wire and cardboard prop flix, to the 60's long-ass buildup-to-the-battle-royale-at-the-end b&w samurai films, to the newer digitally enhanced martial arts showcases. Love 'em all.
SO, I'm hoping we can share some recommendations, because my favorite way to spend a saturday morning is in my pj's with coffee and donnie yen or bruce lee or chow-yun fat or jet li
and I'm always looking for a good movie I haven't seen.
I'd have to start us off with 36th Chamber of Shaolin. If you're at all into martial arts flicks and haven't seen it, GO FIND IT NOW.

Those Zatoichi flicks are awesome!
I haven't seen these others though, psyched to get some new titles!

Agreed. Some fantastic recs.
Achtane's "Sanjuro" is actually what influenced my username...Yojimbo is a counterpart, also excellent.
More recently, the remake of 13 Assassins was pretty sick.

True. Wasn't too keen on the CGI, but other than that it rocked pretty hard.
