After a year of R&D our ring-mod/Analog synth pedal is in beta. We a going to make a limited run of twenty pedals. The pedal will be called the "Dr pr0n - Harmonic Integrator". The price will be $300 US but we will include free shipping. The controls will be Frequency, Fine Tune, Wet/Dry Mix and Volume. It will include an expression pedal input designed for the Boss FV-500H. As alway with our pedals it will have battery and a standard 9V DC jack. Battery life should be many, many hours.

Prototype 1 of 4 is complete. After the first four prototypes we will make sixteen production models, each one with art from a different artist.

Was that Demo recorded with a bass?

What will the expression pedal control?

Yes it was recorded with bass direct into my sound card. Later this week I'll record another more real clip with a current prototype. Dr pron will have an exp pedal jack, as both prototypes do. I'm working on modding the VCO for CV and Gate inputs. Which should be no big deal as I have already used the exp jack for CV and an external LFO input. Were 90% There. My goal was to have one working prototype that I could hand over to anyone to try out by Christmas. I shattered that goal last week.

Exp Pedal will control the VCO frequecy

I'm going to build another prototype on Monday. We may change the fine tune control to VCO Range. That was you'll be able to set the top and bottom limit for the expression pedal.

I designed and tested a new VCO that I will use for Dr pr0n. The new oscillator not only uses one less IC but will have 1 volt per octave CV. It played in tune with my Arp Odyssey. Don't know if I'll get the total redesign done by Christmas but we'll be close. I'll be sure to post updates.

Square. The modulator that I am using will only work with square wave on the Y input(carrier) but will except any signal for the X input.

I'm working on adding a sine wave LFO to Dr pr0n. I new VCO design has been working really well. VCO range is 100Hz - 10KHz.

I'll see what I can do this week; I have the 2.0 design on a bread board. I'm hoping to finish the final PCB design by the end of the week.

I'm halfway done with the new board layout. As you can see we have a new logo. Some of my time have been taken up by our move to re-brand the pedal line. But we are still moving forward with Dr pr0n and Poseidon.
