Does anyone have any experience with these? Also what is a good price on them and what is a GREAT price on them? I'm interested in getting a smaller amp than my bassman for recording and bedroom time. Also if I were to mic it do you think it would get big enough to where my other guitarist could use it live and keep up with my bassman? (which I do not play loud honestly)

Really cool amps. I bought a beater for $50 that unfortunately needed a shitload of work but sounded awesome after. People try and charge $350+ for them because of the Fender vintage cache', but I wouldn't pay more than $300 for a super clean one. A simple fun amp though. Runs 6AQ5 power tubes, 12 watts I think? Surprisingly loud for the size, maybe even enough to be mic'ed? Don't know, never tried.

I do know there were 2 versions, the 6AQ5 and a normal 6V6, the one I am scoping is a 6V6 and the aksing price is $275. It looks a little roughed up, I would describe it as a player. It also has the original speaker, which I am ok with but I hear putting something British in can make it sound a lot better if you plan on using pedals at all?

Huh, did not know that! About the tubes. Never tried any other speakers, the stock one sounded good. It took pedals well, as I recall.
If the tubes are good, it doesn't need a recap or any other work, then that might be an OK price, but it depends on what you need.
