Don't make any big decisions drunk dude, you may end up regretting it. But if you still feel the same in the morning, by all means go for it. Sometimes I kind of want to just sell most of my pedals too and have a minimalist setup. But I know that if I did that I'd just end up buying more shit a couple of weeks later.

Depends on how big the debt is, what kind of debt it is, and how much interest you're getting screwed by, but debt is generally a good thing to get rid of. In the long run you could end up with more gear money if you pay off the debt now.

I tried it once and I was miserable for the 3 years I stopped playing.

You guys are right. My wife is supportive of my music/gear but sometimes I think "what the hell am I doing, I have a family (wife plus 2 kids) to take care of, so why am I adding another $400 to my bill me later debt that is at $2,000" know what I mean.
