With that amp? Neither.
(Like the amp, BTW, ThePastRecedes.)

...What kinds of tones are you looking for OP? Buzzy evil swarm of bees, or fat sustaining crunch?

Thanks, It's a small 70's Japanese amp. For something this it surprisingly has a lot of head room. Best it was $140 with tax.
Haven't giged with this yet, since I've just moved to Canada and not in a band yet, But I'll probably just Mic it up.
Only thing I don't like about it is the tremolo, It's a nice tremolo but a few more parameters would have been nice.

Not too sure really, I've never been into pedals until the last few months.
I've tried two fuzzes so far; V5 Big Muff and a Way Huge Red Llama Clone.
The Llama was too heavy too much distortion/gain and too much volume, I couldn't really get a similar volume to my clean.
Op-Amp muff, I like the buffer a lot, but the EQ seemed to be lacking. With tone bypassed it became too bassy and muddy.

What kind of music are you playing? That might help narrow things down. For something incredibly versatile, you can look into either the smallsound/bigsound Team Awesome Fuzz Machine, or the Dr. Scientist Elements. Both cover wide ranges, with the TAFM leaning more towards the fuzzy side, and the Elements tending towards the distortion-y side.

^Bingo.
Or if you're not a baby, a Gnometron (look in the shark tank). Speaking of, where's Spunx been?
The Fuzzhugger Lab Ratchet also looks like it covers a lot of ground.

What this guy said.
There is way too many to choose from but I guess to start off you should check out stuff by earthquaker devices, blackout effectors, dr scientist and fuzzhugger.

Yeah, nice score for $140.
It's a little small to gig with unless the gig's on the quieter side. I guess it depends on what kind of music you'll be playing.
Yeah, most amp tremolo is pretty basic. Usually just a control or two.
Get yourself some nice Canadian fuzz. As has been suggested, Dr. Scientist The Elements. Or Fairfield Circuitry Four Eyes.

I'd suggest something not over the top: EHX Metal Muff with Top Boost.

OK, so, nothing too fuzzy.
Blackout Effectors Musket (or Blunderbuss) is a good choice.
