I have owned a Roland cube 15 watt for about a year? Two yearsish? I've noticed in the last year or 6 months or so, that a buzz emanates from the amplifier when it is turned on. It has never bothered me much, but now it has, with the introduction of my four eyes fuzz, and the subsequent hellish screech that my amp makes whenever the fuzz is on. The screech even varies in pitch when I toggle the equalizer, how musical and unamusing. -.-

Help me my fuzz-loving brethren, maybe this information provides useful, I have no Boss 9v power adapters, no voodoo labs thing of any sort for I have no idea what it does. My few other pedals consist of a Double Muff reissue, Memory Toy and Rocktech Chorus (borrowed). I power my pedals either by 9v batteries or by plugging the few dodgy 9v adapters I have into plug extensions. I use Stagg high quality instrument cables.

Do not hesitate to ask me more questions if it will aid your recommendation. I plead all who have been in a similar situation, help a fellow sufferer of the screech.

Since you are using dodgy 9v adapters and batteries I would say try to get a One Spot or some other kind of power supply... Make sure the Amp is plugged into a good powerstrip that has a ground lift and surge protection... The Amp should be away from other electrical devices like a TV or computer that could cause noise... Try another plug in your house if possible, on certain plugs in my house I can hear the AC turn on through the Amp... Bad electrical or a ground loop in your house can cause noise on the line too... It could also be your guitar but check all that stuff first...
