just ONE thing

If you could only learn/practice/use ONE thing well for the rest of your life, what would it be? By this, I mean things like painting with one medium (oils, acrylics, etc...) or drawing only with graphite/charcoal, or playing only guitar, just the bass etc. If you could do just ONE; guitar and not draw, or paint but never sing, etc....what would you choose? I'm gonna be kind of a dick and say that you couldn't use pedals if you choose guitar/bass, just an amp without effects (overdrive/distortion is ok, I suppose) because that would defeat the purpose of the challenge. While you could only ever practice or use this one thing, you would get extremely good at it. OK, GO!

Play guitar with a buttload of fuzz. When I turn on a fuzz pedal and im really getting into it, it makes me happier than anything in the world.

I'd choose a keyboard synth. Modular if possible; if not, I'd settle for either our Virus kB or an Alesis Andromeda.

From stuff I already play: drums.
From stuff I'd love to learn: piano.

guitar all day, for I has Pipe Amp. I don't need pedlulz, as I have myriad tricks I do with the Pipe Amp that can get me into Vibe/Leslie territory, as well as wah, Ebow, and tremo-phase. With the volume(guitar) set to a specific "sweet spot", I can get it to oscar-late. Regular amps, and I mean every fucking one of them, should have a "Fuzz channel".

I suppose that if we're allowing amp distortion, I'd just stick with bass.

If not, drums. I wanted to be a drummer when I was a kid, but can't play for shit. A great drummer is an amazing, amazing thing.

Well, I'd be okay with guitar provided I get a tube amp. I use my BK as a tube fuzz, so I don't need much else, I suppose.

If not guitar, vocals. I love singing and screaming. I'm looking forward to this move because I think I might be able to finally get a He Is Legend type band going, in a new city.

Double bass. Even thinking about never playing guitar or electric bass or never learning piano and drums like I plan to do makes me sad though.

Ninpo.
Cuz I play bass AND effects. So making me play bass takes away the point of it.
