what do you know about Charlottesville, VA?

i may have a possibility of work there. it seems like a nice place from what little i know of it, but all i really know is that it's a university town, i have a friend there who plays piano, and the Dave Matthews Band is from there. my friend Michael, who's in my age cohort, says there's lots of musicians and stuff. any of you folks have any experience there, or any information to offer?

I have some friends doing some good stuff there. Definitely has some good shows going through. Good local bands as well. Monticello. It's scenic. Laid back people. Old people. Snooty college kids. Awesome college kids.
