How do I fix a dinged fret?

I have no idea what happened, but when I was I playing my guitar today I noticed that there's this ding in one of the frets that the string will catch on resulting in a pinging noise if I bend the slightest bit at that fret or the one after it. I can't really tell how deep it is, but it's at least as wide as the b string. Kinda looks like it took some sort of blunt force trauma directly above the 9th fret and the string made an indentation. That or someone took a razor blade to my guitar. Whatever happened, it's really annoying. Can I do anything like sand down the ding and fill it with something, or do I need to get a new fret or what?

That looks like an easy repair. I'd just bring it into the repair shop. I don't think they'd fill it in, they'll probably just file it down or something

Bring it to a repair shop. I had this done to my guitar once.
You cannot just level this one with sand paper... You might have some buzz if you do this.
It cost me under 40$ to have a fret job + all the adjustement of the guitar.

Yep. This is much deeper than a little surface dent.
