VHT 12/20 question

hey, dudes... kinda love the sound of this amp, the price is superfriendly, just wanted to ask you - has anyone used it for rehearsing an live gigs? does it have enough headrom in the 20W mode to stay clean when mic'd up but still using your amp as a monitor?
