Sure, why not - I'm just somewhat indifferent to the whole subject but with some suspended disbelief and a good dose of healthy skepticism. I mean... we can see, with proper telescopes, light from nebulas already dead because the light travels from so far. That
's close enough a ghost for me. :)

i don't really believe in, like, ghosts that haunt old buildings and terrorize people and stuff. i do believe, with no evidence, that some part of us goes on after death, because i believe i've communicated with my Mom and Dad, brothers, and friends who have died. i also don't admit the possibility of a world full of resident, terrible ghosts because i believe that reality is semi-plastic and what you believe determines what can happen, and i don't want terrifying daemonic spirits in my reality.

A former drummer of me sees ghosts (=dead people). He always looks around a bit scared. I'm quite happy that i don't see them (or whatever he sees).

i'm undecided. I've personally had some weird stuff happen, as have some friends of mine, but I'm not willing to declare it was something supernatural

I love the subject and watch as many ghost hunting/life after death shows as I can find... this is probably the most interesting one I've seen, it's about the Scole Experiments in the mid 90s, maybe the most compelling research on the subject beside NDE stuff. I don't believe in hauntings or possessions or poltergeists or demons etc but I do think sometimes the right people on this side can maybe be affected or influenced by the right people on the other side, in small ways. I've pondered it a lot since my dad died suddenly in 2006.

This is a neat episode about life after death, scientifically viable thanks to quantum physics and certain spooky actions.

Documentaries about ayahuasca/DMT also have interesting experiences of the other side and the beyond etc... I definitely think there's more waiting for us on the other side but I think the universe keeps the majority of us and them separated pretty firmly.

I've never had any ghost or supernatural experience but I hope to every day!

I don't, no.

But sometimes I high-five the air just to be safe.

I don't know of any verifiable evidence for any sort of supernatural phenomena, and thus my default position is to assume it has no basis in reality. However, I am always open to new evidence. Ghosts are the one supernatural phenomenon that my wife still clings to, she's discarded all others. But her mother died when she was in college, and I find that that sort of experience tends to result in people believing in ghosts or some sort of resilient afterlife.

Fascinating subject.

I just finished reading Wizard of the Upper Amazon. Nice little oral history/pseudo-ethnography. Kinda makes me wanna go dwell in a forest.

I also recently read The Transmigration of Timothy Archer. PKD, FTW.

Perception is a helluva drug.

I do kinda. I mean, if there is a life after death, I totally think it's ghosts.

Nope.
In fact I won’t even read Blooghost’s posts because he doesn’t exist.

Yeah, ghosts are some real shit. A friend of mine had a new house that attracted something, and I had some fucking terrifying nights over there over the course of our friendship. Some shit that still scares the shit out of me sometimes.

And I'm just absurdly perceptive of that stuff. My parents commented on it last time that I mentioned weird stuff happening in my current house. Some people might remember when I had some weird encounters a few months ago. It stopped, but I also haven't fucking touched the door in my kitchen that goes to the basement, since then. I like to think that we're roommates that respect each other's space.

Also had some stuff happen in my parent's place, which was also a new home, oddly enough. I had a few encounters in that house that still don't make sense to me, honestly.

I can share stories if anyone's interested, but I don't want to wall of text a thread without being at least a little prompted.

Personally, I don't believe in any of that stuff, but I find it entertaining to hear of. Not to make light of anyones experiences, it's just my perspective. I'd like to hear though, Mr. cats.
