novelty only. the toggle is just a kill switch and i'm going to put a ball of LEDs under the outlet, wired to the switch as well.
it's just for playing simple punk rock...

Yep, I just have to reach a point where I can drop the money for the neck and pickups.
I might go ahead and get some of that surfacer to rust up some other stuff in the meantime though.

the pickup is a GFS Dream 90. i didn't like the D90 in a mahogany guitar but it absolutely kills in this one.
the finish is done with a primer/surfacer and a solution to rust the iron is the primer. i also used copper leaf in a few places and have yet a different solution to tarnish that a blue/green patina.
i refinished this 5 times until it came out the way i liked it. i almost gave up. then it just fell together.
