Langoliers was just another typical Stephen King based mini-series/movie, dragging on way too long and never being worth it.

good gawd Stephen King adaptations are fucking horrible.

i always wished they'd kept the underage orgy that signified their loss of innocence in the It tv series. would have made it at least watchable.

The adaptations have killed any desire for me to read through a King novel.

Just remembered that there is one ending I like. The Mist. Where the dad puts a bullet in the head of his son, the three other passengers, but doesn't have one left for himself and then five seconds later the army walks by and he killed them for nothing.

yeah. i actually...... kinda love The Mist. the ending is one of the best in any American movie evah.

I was trying to tell some youngin about the Langoliers the other day but kept think it was Legion or something... I watched it in jail when it aired... Good times...

take THAT Spoiler Tag. The Mist is good for a fun silly horror movie. actually has some interesting things go down before ze climax. except for it hits on pretty much every Stephen King cliche. i THINK it's in Maine (everything he does is), Christians are BAAAAAD, Rednecks are BAAAAAD... there's not really a one-dimensional Evil For The Lulz bully character so that's a step up. i liked it.
