Anyone smoke cigars?

always wondered because it seems like i hardly know anyone who does. anyways, cigars are fucking fantastic, and you're missing out if you've never had one.

But yeah lots of "cool" guys in Austin smoke them at the cigar clubs we have... There used to be a shop on 6th street that had a girl rolling them all day and crowds would stop and watch...

I enjoy about two cigars each year. I quit cigarettes years ago but this vice I still enjoy.
Most of my gigs are at a cigar lounge but I never smoke there.

On the topic of cigar lounges...
So yesterday this bro in one of my classes tried comparing how "people who know what they're doing" in cigar lounges go to the second floor/basement/back room to how the second floor of the Custom's House in
The Scarlet Letter represents sensibility. I don't buy the analysis to begin with, but that's beside the point. The point is, the professor said he'd never been to a cigar lounge, to which the bro advises "Oh you should go. Get Nat Sherman or Dunhill." People laughed. He says "Sorry for being cultured."

wow. just wow. aren't both those companies known primarily for cigarettes? i smoke a lot of cigars and i've never even seen one in a lounge.

Fuck yeah cigars are awesome. I probably smoke one about ever 2 or 3 months or so. CAO Brazilias are my current favorite.

CAO is one of my go to, reasonably priced cigars, but I've been REALLY into these...it was ranked the number 2 cigar of last 2011. it's pretty reasonably priced, and it's made by Ashton. they're incredible. next time you have a cigar, i encourage you to try it. best smoke i've ever had

Yep. They sell Dunhill in gas stations.

I enjoy a good cigar from time to time. Have tried quite a few over the years, everything from drugstore/gas station cheapies to top-shelf stuff. Nowadays I mostly just smoke Backwoods because they're relatively cheap, easy to find and don't suck.
I went nuts when I was on vacation across the pond and could easily get my hands on all the great Cuban stuff I had always read about. You Euros have it great in that regard....

Right there with you. I quit about 3 years ago, and it feels like it's been about a year since my last cigar, but I sure love sitting with friends and smoking a cigar every once and a while.
