Used to listen to Twisted Metal 4 a lot. Also, the best part was that all of the characters' catch phrases were tracks as well. I need to find those and sample them for a song or something.

yeah, Cool Boarders. I wonder if the Tony Hawk games work. I already listened to that "Superman" song a million times ingame.
In the old GTA games (before GTA3), when you get to the point where you're driving around, you can replace the disk with a music CD and the songs will come through the game's radio.

Wait, what? I don't remember this being a thing. I have a copy of Ultimate Battle 22 that I'll have to try this with.

Yeah honestly Wipeout XL really opened up my musical perspective back then. Shit introduced me to Future Sound of London.
By the time PSX hit I was already putting a bunch of TurboGrafx games into my regular CD player. Thank you Ys and Lords of Thunder.

Fuck, I didn't know Cool Boarders worked, I'll have to try Cool Boarders 4. And I don't think the THPS games worked.

Twisted Metal 3 played a lot of Rob Zombie songs in a CD player.

Did you ever get high and play Cool Boarders while looking at the screen upside-down. For me, that was about 75% of high school.

My GPA took a nosedive after my friend started coming over after school every day so we could take turns playing the Matt Hoffman's Pro BMX demo.
It was just Tony Hawk with bikes.
