I like them too. I pretty much like most of their stuff, but the stuff with Ronald Jones is the best. That man knows how to use effects.

I'm not sure if it's still up there, but Hulu had Fearless Freaks streaming for a while. Awesomely scary doc.

You should check out Embryonic, it was kind of a step back towards their rawer garagey sound, but a step forward at the same time.
I FUCKING LOVE THE FLAMING LIPS SOOOOOOOOO MUCH. DO YOU REALIZE HAS THE GREATEST DRUM FILL EVER. STEVEN DROZD IS PROBABLY MY FAVORITE MUSICIAN EVER. I SAW THEM THIS SUMMER AND IT WAS AMAZING AND I CRIED WHEN WAYNE CAME OUT IN THE PLASTIC BUBBLE. TEARS OF JOOOOOOOOOOY.
Fearless Freaks is pretty cool. It's amazing how they seem to have come out such a dirty (for lack of a better word) kind of area but they turned out to be the most delightful, optimistic people. But they get shit, y'know? Wayne all but says he sold drugs. And of course there's Steven's "little" heroin addiction and the scene where he shoots up. I love how Wayne is walking down the street and children just start following him around like he's Jesus or something, which is pretty much true.

i don't think i like their older stuff. i remember wanting to punch people in the face every time Vaseline came on.
but i liked Embryonic. had some cool stuff on it.
