Crumble Ritz crackers on top of mac and cheese, then bake. Tabasco sauce on the side will blow your mind (or better hot sauces if you happen to have).

you liked baked mac and cheese or one of those noodles+creamy sauce things? if the former, make noodles, combine in dish with cheese, egg, various seasonings, milk, mushrooms, etc. i like to add some cream of mushroom soup if i am feeling exceptionally lazy. if i'm feeling fancy i'll make some pesto and add that shit. if the latter, you need to make a cheese sauce. melt butter in a pan. add a little flour. whisk until incorporated. then add milk, slowly add finely shredded cheese and keep whisking. add delicious seasonings. if you've got cream it's so much easier cuz you can just heat it and add cheese and seasoningz.

The real bomb-ass mac-n-cheese recipes always include making a roux to thicken things up but still keep it mad creamy and smooth. Check out some background info:

Baked mac and cheese. All. Day.
The liquidy kind might taste good and all, but it's gotta have some more texture.
