Year 4545 2012

Just read that there's going to be a redone circuit. I'm curious.
"a circuit and layout revision is currently under way and the year4545 is not available for direct purchase at this time. (though one of our dealers may have some in stock) the goal is to pare down the controls for simplicity and consistency, but add expression/voltage control and a filter for more flexibility."
Does this mean less knobs or more knobs or were you thinking of having one knob do two features at once? I loved playing with this box the most from the tourbox just because you can't stop fiddling. So many appropriate and inappropriate sounds.
And now for something completely different:

Notice the mountains...

Oooooo, less controls would be good if it meant a smaller box, adding a filter just sounds niiiice. Can't wait to finally try a 4545 in Behndy's tourbox thing, if I like it I might have to get one of the revised ones when they come out.

Fuck yes
An expression jack that controls an oscillator would be insane

I went from 0 to 3 SS/BS pedals in less than a month. looks like it will be 4. It almost all happened by chance, but I'm not complaining.

So probably consolidate the oscillator knob to one? Or push pull for each? I'm so curious. I like the insane flexibility, but less is more.

I'm keeping my old janky franken4545. I love it more than anything. But I might need a second one.
And I MUST have one of those Mountain Ranges. I demand it.

I recently got an old style 4545 with clean blend (and all the MOJOZ) sounds meaty teamed with Schecter Hellcat Vi and a Rustybox, I had a catalinbread teaser stallion before but could never comfortably play with the oscillation, this however is not so with the 4545.
