Yah, people get pissy sometimes when you're not all too serious. Despite feeling uncomfortable around the word sometimes (white guilt?), I thought that was simply funny.

This reminds me of the time I got a 1 month ban at UG. I was ripping on dogs in a thread about them. Don't tell people you don't like dogs! That's out of line.

But then I ended up here, so the whole thing had a happy ending. I go back there when I'm on one of my forum binges, just trying to kill time not really thinking about my responses. Sometimes it's mildly entertaining and the Alt/Indie subforum has some cool peeps (although it's not nearly as busy as it used to be).

I really think they should consider context, you clearly weren't using it in an offensive way. It's an expression, and anytime someone uses phrases common to a subculture that they aren't part of, its funny. I understand they are just trying to be fair by banning it accross the board rather than picking and choosing, but come on. And goodness, good thing HC doesn't have a gangsta rap subforum!

Context is a slippery slope.
That word has never been cool here, and posting it in an image doesn't change things.
