Deep graffiti in Chicago or street art in general

Everytime in Chicago there's some sort of graffiti that always captures my eye. Notably, there's two, one that's a tag of a graffiti artist who goes by Weed Wolf and just finds odd spots to write the name and another one who goes around writing "Forgive Yourself". That one always gets me for some reason.

We have a few of those "positive" graff artists in this shitty little town, too. But they don't understand what the fuck you do with stencils, so they do political art that's
A: not relevant in this country
and B: impossible to understand because they provide no context.

yeah ahah when I was in New York I noticed people put up white bicycles at street corners to show a death of a cyclist and stuff and then one day in the park slope area someone put a a white baby stroller in a part, and it caused a lot of controversy as to whether it was to scare people, or to actually commerate something like that or to symbolize the death of the Park Slope area due to people moving there to start families and such.

dude, LA has some of the most amazing graffiti ever.

I used to follow certain artists a few years back. Kinda fell out of that though.

That second one is sick as hell! I always thought it'd be funny to spray paint the outline of a body in weird places

There is one alley way in Ann Arbor that is all enclosed with a little opening, one of those places you just have to happen upon.

I'm probably alone here in saying how much I absolutely hate graffiti. If you own a property and want to scribble on it, fine, but somehow the thought of defacing someone else's property isn't really addressed.

That being said, there are a lot of extremely talented artists out there. It's really a shame that this is where they use it.
