Here's what I want to do: Hook up my iPod or other audio source via 1/8" cable to some kind of dock then play that audio in every room of my house and maybe outside.
Does something like that exist?

Yeah. My old roommate had some Bluetooth speakers he could play music through wirelessly from his laptop.

bose has some but i think theyre expensive.
