They are playing at the Val Air Ballroom in Des Moines, Ia, tonight. I don't know who is opening.

I will try to get a look at the Cline and Tweedy pedalboards.

I've seen them before in '99 and '07.

I'm so jelly.

I'm a huge Wilco fanboy, and I'm missing the show in Chicago because I come back the next day, and the show in Colorado is in january

makes me sad, enjoy it, I fucking love em

There are snippets that I really dig and the last time I put it on I was feeling it all the way 'til halfway through Radio Cure.

I might try listening to it on shuffle to see if its just the flow of the record that makes me itch for something else.

You can always just forget about it and listen to something you actually like.

In a perfect world Wilco would be opening for Nick Lowe.

I can't disagree with that. Lowe is a far better songwriter than Tweedy.

Wilco is best live. They are very good in that context.

Oh, yeah, I've got nothing against Wilco. Great band. They're all awesome (especially Nels Cline).

I think the other reason why I never end up giving them much of a shot is that Wilco and Wire are next to each other on my box of tunes.
