Usually check for one of these on ebay about once a week, just because I have never seen one and think it's really neat as a Danelectro, even though reverse delay isnt hard to come by....
One popped up today, 16 bids in the first 2 hours...

I had one for awhile I liked it but when I powered it with a one spot in my pedal chain it had a very noticable hum.

I think I can can pick up a talk back for $30 tomorrow at the pawn shop, don't know why that one is worth $190+.
Dano pedals suck anyway, unless it's supposed to be noisy.

How could a dano reverse delay be worth $190 when you can buy pedals that have a lot more than reverse delay for less?

Yea, sorry i didn't put this in gear, I just would rather spam up general than serious gear inquiries.

Because people collect weird shit some times. Those other better/more function delays don't have the mojo braH

i can't seem to find a consistent use for reverse delay. i just don't see a practical application

I used to agree, but last week I found a setting on my SMMwH that sounds kinda like a squarewave modulated filter or something. It was like 50/50 mix, not that many repeats, pretty short delay times and it's really cool. Finally have a use for that reverse preset. It can also sound pretty decent as a sort of weird slapback thing, or with loads of repeats to build up walls of horrible noise.

i've had one on my board since they came out and i love it! however, i play out of 2 amps use the back talk at the end of a chain right after aby splitter so it only goes to one amp. sounds really awesome, adds a lot of almost rythmic atmosphere. doubling it up with a fairly clean amp sounds HUGE.
but... typical crap-o dano jacks
