Right... Gig on in 2 or so hours, if you turn up dressed up you get a free drink...

What the fuck can I go as that's piss easy and i'll have stuff around for, the only make up I have access to is an eye liner pen someone left here and... paint I guess.

And I could make some fake blood... only I have no food colouring...

Go!

this was me yesterday, i had no costume and everyone was fucking dressed up. i borrowed a panda hat from my friend and then borrowed some black and white brogues and a white shirt. wore a bunch of black and white shit and lined my eyes. i was a panda eating a panda. or a meta panda depending on how douchey i felt like sounding. yo everyone loved it.

but seriously just draw on a nose and some whiskers. be a cat. just get creative.

one of my friends was the 90s and just put on a bunch of bad trends from the 90s.

They didn't love it. They were just trying to get in yer panda pants.

... I just wanted to say panda pants...

I'll go fuck myself.

I dunno what you look like, but maybe you can just comb your hair to the side and go as [insert 80s pop star here depending on complexion and hair colour].

Haha, awww, if only I had some lipstick, i've got long enough hair to pull it off.

Fuck it, i'll mess my hair up and put a shit ton of hair product in and claim to be edward scissor hands... not far off any way.

Probably shouldn't walk round with scissors though.

"Astronauts are bad news I tell ya. Drivin' around at all hours of the night in their space-buggies, blasting that theme song from 2001: Space Odyssey. Hell, just last Fall an astronaut moved into our town, and simultaneously all the leaves starting falling off all our trees"

snipelfritz' golden rules for a costume:

1. It should be something you either have in your closet or something your can get for a couple bucks at a thrift store.

2. It should be no less comfortable than anything you might wear on a typical day(so like business suit at worst?).

That's it. Last year I didn't spend a dollar and pulled off a kick-ass Indiana Jones. Then again, I happen to have a fedora. Point is: Go with what you've got and pull some last-minute creativity out of your ass. The year before I was Mad Max. All I needed to buy was a belt.
