haven't heard much about it since its release. i got one of these last week and its pretty rad. its a good od/boost for some cranked fender tones. the price kicks ass too, i like it!

It's not a booster. I can't believe how many times I have to tell people that It says overdrive right in the description.

I wasn't aware, alot of the descriptions of it have made it sound like its a booster

This pedal is next on my list I think after the Bit Commander.

I seriously love my Speaker Cranker! I just got ahold of it a few days ago and I've been playing the hell out of it. I already own way too many fuzzes, overdrives, boosters, etc., but this thing is one of the BEST.

Full on it delivers a very warm, smooth amp-like distortion which pretty much gives me all the range I need while riding my guitar's volume knob. It cleans up very nicely and it gives me just the right amount of compression at full bore. The tone is just fabulous.

There's something magical about a really well designed pedal that gives you what you need via a single knob -- I just love that! You cannot go wrong with this thing. It's designed for a single function and it does its job remarkably. I'm going to get lots of use out of it, I'm certain of that.

I should mention, although there are plenty of useful tones throughout this pedal's gain structure, my 2nd fave setting of this thing (my 1st being full out) is at about 9:00. It adds a fantastic but subtle heft to the tone with sparkling highs. Seriously, even if I were going to utilize a clean tone all the time, I would definitely use this thing just for its 9:00 setting.

Don't know what else to say except: I ordered this thing without ever having heard it, no videos, nothing, based solely on the fact that I've been so entirely pleased with EQD's other gear, and I'm very happy I did!
