We're as cool as bass players and guitarists put together, and the best of both ranges.
so howbout y'all jaw about awesome baritone/lower range guitar gear, like which fuzzes sound OSUM, and the bands that use them like say Morphine, Animals as Leaders, and p much all the osum stoner bands

What exactly constitutes a bari?
My only guitar is a LP-100 set up B-B.
But, I agree I like the low tones and the extended range wrapped up into one.

Conifer used Baritones to great effect.
If y'all don't know Conifer, I don't want to know you.

Mares of Thrace is baritone + drummer and one of my current faves. There's also Jucifer.

Sucks they broke up, but the Crown Fire album is bliss, then as a bonus you get Eugene Robinson at the end. I should get around to checking out their new projects.

No, you can play them straight up through a guitar amp.
I have a Mudfuzz VI tuned E-E an octave down from standard which is like a Bass+Baritone+Guitar so that makes it triple badass.
My favorite fuzzes for it are the Megalith or TAFM for teh heavy and Wren and Cuff PPB or OX Dark for teh more fuzzies.

Crown Fire was in constant rotation for WEEKS after I got it. Simply a massive, inspiring record. We met Zack outside a Melvins/ISIS show last year when he spotted my bandmate wearing a Conifer shirt...super cool guy, and huge bummer that they are no longer. Their first release is excellent too.
I have a Schecter axe that's 26.5" scale...we tune A-G-C-F-A-D, which some gibbys have had a tough time articulating when trying to recreate the lowend. The guitar is incredibly "balanced" sounding if not very exciting tone-wise, with a full but not boomy bottom. I don't use it enough but can't bring myself to turn it over either. The scale length is just long enough to still feel a bit awkward.
I've had great luck with the Monarch and Pharaoh, and am FINALLY getting around to trying a Musket. I have been through a dozen other fuzzes in the last few years in attempts to find something that nails the lows. We have also resorted to building our own muffs specifically designed to perform better in the lowend, and are going through some different variations now...because, you know, there aren't enough muff clones out there already

I like my green tall font muff with it. also, the blood fuzz has some good tones among all the options that pedal has.

You should try the TAFM, especially for Bass and Baritone.
It's not real muffy but it's got Lows and Lows of Lows.
