Someone said Rocktober is next month

No idea why it pisses me off so much, but it does

It doesn't bother me that much, but I am slightly irritated with all the plays on words that I encounter in everyday life

I encounter endless amounts of wordplay and puns in my daily life. It makes me want to hit people in the throat with a ball-peen hammer.

It wouldn't be so bad if indeed October WAS Rocktober, but alas it's just another shitty month.
Now if they called October something like, PumpkinAletober...now THAT would kick ass!!!

Every time I have to hear this on the radio, it makes me want to strike the nearest thing that feels pain.

And it doesn't bother you that October is the 10th month and not the 8th? (Thanks to the old Romulus calendar)

I don't listen to the radio -- I'd rather be stabbed in the face repeatedly with a fork.

The radio plays at work. I am often unlucky enough to have a headphone off during a commercial or some other radio stupidity (i.e. everything else).

I don't know if it pisses me off per-say but... well I sort of consider october my holy month due to Halloween being in it. Now don't get me wrong here, it's not like I really believe in much in terms of beliefs thought up in some man[s] head and also I don't really not believe either, It's more a I don't know but I don't think that is there is something "more" that it could be summed up by a mere human and this is why when asked I say I worship Satan. Not that Halloween has anything to do with Satan really but I like the idea of a day where you are suppose to dress up as monsters, whores and vampires, party and eat a bunch of candy all the while reveling in the wonder of campyness As far as I'm concerned that trumps all "real" holidays
