What's this guitar? Elwood or Dev might know...

I caught a glimpse of this in a Cardigans video (YES, YOU HEARD ME RIGHT!) and just had to know. I want this thing so bad (except as a bass), it's not even funny. Guesses? Bueller? Bueller?

Man, I love that thing. Totally ridonkulous. Gonna have to integrate that into the custom bass I've been working on forever...

Apparently, Eastwood did a limited run repro in their earlier days--maybe you could persuade Mike Robinson to do a bass run to go along with the Map Bass and Ampeg EUB repro.
Oh for anyone looking for a vintage 6 String May Queen--apparently they were also off-branded by Kawai after Kawai bought Teisco as the Apollo May Queen. Too bad they didn't do a cross-merch deal with Kay--I'd <3 to have a Kay May Queen.
Also, those Vox Mando Guitars make me wonder if that shape wasn't in the air somewhere else....
