Doesn anyone else's fucking firefox update like, once a week? Mine updated TWICE TODAY.
Which means all my "predictive" addresses are gone. Back when firefox updated like a few times a year like a normal program, all I had to type was "i" and ilovefuzz frontpage came up. "g" for gmail, so on and so forth.


Fuck some firefox. I dont give a fuck if you update three times a day, just remember the fucking sites I go to, OK?

Safari sucks ass. Firefox does have that problem but i wouldn't let it go for a glittery browser, or, say, a glittery computer like a mac.

it might be betas or something. you're in control. Just turn off auto-update as previously stated.

I very reluctantly stopped using FireFox as my main browser (on Mac) because the last couple versions just randomly freeze for a few seconds...and it happens every 90 seconds. Very annoying for, you know, scrolling a web page or typing out a forum post. Tried everything to get rid of it. No dice.

So I very begrudgingly started using Safari. I've just about gotten used to all its weird shit.

I can't get on board with Chrome. It's too fucking odd for me. But maybe I should give it another shot. But then again, Google already owns 90% of the rest of my life, so I'm sort of scared to hand them everything.

The recent updates are part of Mozillas "Rapid Release" Strategy plan for the next months. Basically every 6 weeks there is a new version of firefox out and you can decide which one you like.

Firefox is good as long as you don't update it.

I'm still using version 3.4 or something - upgraded to 4.0 and it was total fucking shit. Reloaded the old version.

Bingo. I was chatting with some of the Firefox developers at a conference a month ago. They said they're aiming for Firefox 8 or something by the end of the year. Chrome has been my way to go for quite some time.
