Who do I talk to about the hosted forums, and possibly getting one for Coldcraft Effects?

Well, you can post in the Shark tank which is for builders who sell pedals, although you have to have 100 posts, as in be a part of the ilf community. But Tom Dalton would be the preson to talk to.

I'm debating/trying to figure out if I have the resources to host my own under my domain or if I should do something else, and I stumbled upon the arrangements here.

I Love ilf for having all These builders with each subforum here. Better than hundreds of Single Forums...

Your stuff looks interesting...I'd work on getting into the shark tank, that's the first step.
You could nicely ask Tom if he'd allow you a thread in the shark tank to sell your stuff, maybe he'd overlook the 100 post requirement.

I guess I should have said, I'm not really interested in selling through the forum. Forums receive enough spam as is and I don't want to add to the noise. I currently sell direct through coldcrafteffects.net and I'm working with a few dealers as I move into the fall.
I was just curious when I saw the hosted forums for the various manufacturers, as its been something I've been wanted to do for a while.

Aren't most of the manufacturers who end up with a subforum already either friends of Tom, ILF members in good standing, or both?

You could also PM tom about starting a Coldcraft thread in the Gear section.

Yep.
Post in the Gear and make it a nice introduction instead of just
spam spam spam baked beans and spam
for the fuzzheads; hang around, make Yourself home at here, contribute and make friends; and ask Tom about stuff. Just do it already. Eventually, things will happen, in due time, if they are to happen.

Go check the Buy/Sell/Trade > Shark Tank. To get to post in the Shark Tank: You must own a pedal business, and have 100+ posts.

great thanks for that info. Again, I'm not really interested in selling my effects line through the forum. Don't want to add to the spam noise. I didn't realize that the hosted forums were more of a friendly favor than a service provided.
cool.
