BACON. DISCUSS.

Whilst bacon is oft over-hyped on the far reaches of the interwebs, its mystical powers cannot be denied. Having drowned my sorrows tonight with a full pound pack of bacon, I ask you, peoples of ILF: how do you consume your bacon? Crispy? Floppy? Somewhere in between? Pan-fried, baked, or other? Thick sliced, thin? Flavored bacons? Does Canadian count? And so forth.
Personally, I profess that bacon must be wholly crispy, unless it is particularly thick-sliced and meaty, in which case on the floppy side is ok. Otherwise, floppy is gross and people who make floppy bacon deserve to be shot. I usually just go with pan-fried, but have discovered recently that baking bacon in the oven is actually pretty good if you're making large quantities or if you're just really lazy. If you microwave bacon, I also hate you.

bacon isn't overhyped, it merely has over-fervent followers.
think about it; when properly cooked, there is almost no food bacon doesn't go with.

Truth. Although I have yet to have bacon in any kind of desert form, which I should remedy at some point. Didn't Ben & Jerry's or someone make bacon ice cream for a while?

I prefer sausage. It's juicy and meaty and doesn't taste like burning.

I've honestly never really liked sausage. There's just something about its composition. You have to trust the manufacturer as to what's actually in the sausage, and the idea of natural casings is just kinda

. Sausage is also less viable an option for a by-itself snack.
Oh, and I lied. I've totally had bacon cookies, that shit was delicious. Also peanut butter and chicken cookies, which were less so.

I had chocolate-covered bacon and thought it was disgusting.

Pan fried, crispy on sides but juicy in the middle, not thick, not thin - somewhere between...
love bacon... it goes great with eggs for a breakfast

also guys...
take a bun, slice it open, cover with cheese spread. Make a fried egg small enough to fit properly, you can fold it a bit... then add a cheese according to your taste - brie, cheddar, camembert... all good

then on top you add slice of bacon folded in half finished according to your taste. For this sandwich i like it more crispy... on top you can add chili, ketchup - what do you fancy...
my favourite creation ever

Peameal bacon is the shit.
I like bacon in EVERYTHING. I made an epic meal of bacon wrapped chicken with bacon mushroom stuffing, roasted garlic whipped potatoes with crisp bacon, and a custard with bacon sugar.
