Since a lot of you are in college, going to college, or have been in college, what's yer major?
I majored in English/Writing in undergrad. Went on to get my Masters in Writing.
I guess I used it a little bit when I graduated, but I'm way out of that world now. Most if it is long forgotten or burned out of me.

I was an anthropology major. Did my senior thesis on contemporary American tattooing. Fun times.
Of course, nothing I've done since graduating fifteen years ago has had anything to do with anthropology...

I majored in English with a "specialization" in Film because gay old Michigan State University didn't have a Film major. I'm actually glad it turned out that way, because I'm much more interested in writing and literature now than I am in film. "Cognates" in music and psychology.
Supervisor at Whole Foods, live alone in a sweet apartment, plenty of cashe for rent and GEAR GEAR GEAR. Couldn't be better.

AA in Library Information Technology. i wound up leaving the field and going into desktop publishing/print production/graphic design because the pay was better, but i miss library work. i really liked being part of the process of bringing people together with the information they needed, and what i do now is just moving shit around on a screen.

I majored in Political Science. Which as it turns out, is just complete and utter bullshit with no actual connection to learning about real politics and how the world works. I had a few classes that really opened my eyes to the world, but that was only due to good professors, not the class content.
I am beginning to think that an expensive college education is a waste. I loved it while I was there, but it bears no relation to my grown up life.
