Anybody find an alternative to the default safari app? I've been experimenting with ifox and it's cool, I suppose, but I'm looking for something a little more user friendly. Also, cheaper is better, and free is always attractive.

I like Safari. Haven't messed around with too many other ones

what don't you like about safari?

My biggest real gripe is the limited number of tabs, combined with the fact that every time I switch tabs the page automatically reloads. mostly little things like that.

I think you can get opera on the iphone, but i've never used it. the tab reloading thing in safari is definitely annoying.

the only places i really need my phone browser is where i don't get wifi, which is the main reason i've been shopping around.

my droid reloads the page too but I think it might be cached. its probably just to free up the ram when the phone is locked or browser not in use
