Nothing special today. Tomorrow, I'm barbecuing some chicken, onion bread, and corn for my dad. It's gonna be good.

I love cooking. I probably eat out less than a half a dozen times a year, and everything else I make.

I don't have many pictures of food I've made, but I do have this one:



...which is an Alton Brown recipe. You make the sugar spirograph thing, and the caramel sauce, and you blowtorch bananas dipped in sugar. It's a sugar overload. Oh yeah, and I make homemade ice cream, too.

And every year for the last six or seven years, my girlfriend and I do this:



Thousands of cookies. Over a dozen varieties. Several hundred dollars worth of ingredients. We start on a Friday, and work practically non-stop until Monday. I repeat-- sugar overload.

Damn it, now I'm hungry.

Nothing fancy. Noodles with a pea / bacon / tomato - sauce. I thought we still had some canned tuna in the house otherwise it would have gone in the sauce as well.
