I just fuzzed up a pre-school

Got to take guitar and pedals into my son's Pre-K today
Took my home-made strat and a small board; mostly stuff with good Graphics but insane sounds.
3 Leaf Groove Reg
Arc Flash
Tone Reaper-ILF Purchase
Montreal Assembly Ring Mod (kids loved the eye)-ILF Purchase
Hummingbird
Wolf CPU-ILF Purchase
Rythm and Detonation CE clone-ILF Purchase
Maxon AD9
and Boss PH3
It was so flipping cool, kids were great, maybe get to create some new fuzz addicts and got to rep some ILF peds for the kiddies.
Arc flash was a big hit, kids like the bacon and the splattery tones: I was told by one kid that the groove regulator sounded like vacation (that seems accurate)
Not sure this experience qualifies as a thread but I figure this is something more people can do, pre-school teachers are pretty open to guests, plus it would point kids towards learning and creating decent tunes instead of the other crap they learn in school.
Also wanted to say how much I appreciate the forum and the many sweet deals on pedals (some used today)
Sorry about the bad picture: And I do realize that my carpet looks gross.

Very cool! Some of my pedals have graphics that wouldn't be suitable for a kindergarten class, I think
Props to you, man! Your son is lucky

thanks boss, yeah I try to keep the graphics toned down for the kiddies.
My son is awesome, he actually helped me build the board and guitar we took,

Yeah, building a guitar wins you the world's #1 dad mug.

My dad never really built anything with me or shared his music with me. (I mean, he was a minister so he was performing in church every weekend, essentially, but I didn't learn any piano/organ or singing from him, ever..)

My dad was a minister too:
He used to give voice lessons, never to me.
Here is a pic of the guitar.

At least Aretha made a song for us preacher's sons to dance to girls with.

Man, hbomb, that is seriously awesome. You rule. And mathias - that Aretha comment is hilarious.

That's SO COOL! Like, such an awesome thing for you to share with not just your kid, but other children at large.

That's great, I have a 3 year old and he's fascinated with my pedalboard! Unfortunately, his favorite hobby is rearranging that mutha.
Not in school quite yet but this is an inspiring thread for when he does start. It's like the ultimate show n tell!

I don't think schools support using either hemisphere of the brain. Teaching kids to be good factory workers is a sad consequence of our education system. Not that I want to get into a discussion/argument about that here in this thread.
Instead, yes! PRESCHOOLS NEED MORE FUZZ.
I'm going to try and do something educational for kids soon, possibly through the Milwaukee Makerspace. Teaching a middle school class to make Atari Punk Console micro-synths, most likely. hbombgraphics has inspired me.
