I'll do this in a few hours. We just moved to a new space and I wanted to document the whole process, but I'm the laziest photographer in the world and NEVER carry a camera with me randomly... I'm trying to fix that.

This is our dungeon looking space. It used to have white walls with holes punched in it and spray painted dicks, vaginas, obscenities, pentagrams, etc. all over the place. We were super proud to have accomplished such a decent renovation job given that we had no idea what we were doing. We felt like Bob Vila, or Norm Abrams, or some other bearded guy who does badass shit with fixing and building home related things. We also have a stage in our room which I think is pretty sweet.

Do you have to setup/tear down for every practice since you're paying by the hour? Lugging around gear gets old fast..

Yes, and it sure does. We don't have much a choice though since we're all piss poor.
We also don't get to practice enough to make it worth our while to rent a space monthly. We'd be losing money.
We also bring as little gear as possible. I just bring my blues junior and run it in stereo with one of their dying JCM 900s, the bassist uses their shitty amp, and the drummer brings next to nothing.

I don't know, it's alright for now. Our bassist might be moving into a place where he'll have basement to himself and a bunch of loud room mates up stairs who would legitimately be cool with us practicing until 3 in the morning whenever we want. So, I'm hoping he gets that. It's kinda far from where I'm moving though, so we'll see.
