The government today, announced that it's changing the National Flag to a CONDOM, because it more accurately reflects the government's political stance.
A condom allows for inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks and gives you a sense of security while you're actually being screwed.
It just doesn't get more accurate than that!

Honestly, if you haven't converted all your cash into something else by now, you deserve whatever's coming to you. I recommend Gold Dubloons.

I used a condom yesterday for the first time in two and a half years on a whim.
Took it off after a few pumps.
Fuck condoms.

To protect our flag from having people shit on it, we should make our flag out of shit.

I think he is serious and I would agree. its a confidence based economy. I have no confidence that there will be any stability in the dollar. not with looming debt, declining exports and rising gas prices. gold is going up because of speculation on america, NOT because of supply and demand in gold dependent industries.

Totally. Gold is pegged to the dollar. If the value of the dollar goes down the value of gold goes up by comparison.
Gas prices going up has been inflated by the system of speculators who "pad" the pricing for a declining industry. Oil demand has peaked and realistically, we have plenty of oil for the moment. Sufficient supply and decreasing demand should mean lower prices right? Wrong, because they've manipulated the system in a way that uses any possibility of a lack of supply(which is inevitable in the case of fossil fuels) and uses it to justify price hikes.
Basically, there is a new class developing in America. Like the European Bourgeoisie, which was defined by owning the means of production(and pants!), and the American middle class, which was typically defined by home ownership, the new Financial class has found ways to make money out of money without any sort of intermediary production. In other words, they make money from industries that don't produce anything. They may provide financing that helps productive, innovative industries get started, but the more and more removed you get from production, the more fragile the whole thing becomes.
I'm not trying to be all "Woohoo Marxism!!!" I think using a Communist(or class-conscious rather) perspective for analysis has value when taken in the right context. I simply think the relationship between production and profit is the main difference between 20th century America and 21st century America. For that reason, we need new ideas, not the same "herp, derp, trickle-down, uhmurrrrrrika" crud.
