I'm from South Carolina but have no southern accent. I'm quite proud of that, actually.
Whenever people ask where I'm from, they never believe me when I tell them I was born and raised in SC.

Although, I have to admit, a little country will sneak in there every now and again.

I don't have the capability to post audio, but my situation is about the same as Foomanfat's...though I'm from juuust slightly North of him (hint hint )

on certain words a little 'twang' kinda seeps in..but generally I have very little southern accent.

hell yeah, that weird o thing sounds sorta canadian sometimes. i've got friends in MN who say 'aboot' and it's hilarious.

I have about the same accent as HT... Hey I'm from fucking Cali I like talk like that and stuff.... Or if you really care and I can't see why anyone really fucking would I say something at the end of the Whetstone guitar demo...
