So....anyone here hunt?

I accidentally killed a deer with my car in December, then some other guy tagged it and took it home. TEAMWORK.

But no, no hunting for me. I'm a puss.

my friend's dad hunts. sometimes i go over there and she tells me not to open the fridge because he always has ducks and deer parts in there.

they also have a fuckton of mounted heads in the basement. creepy as hell when you wake up in the middle of the night and moon's coming through the tiny basement window shining RIGHT ON A DEER'S FACE! i swear they mounted it just so the light would hit it perfectly like that. there is no way that is a coincidence.

i hunt for food, none of that trophy bullshit. just last week i put 6 squirrels in a stew & BBQ'd a raccoon

Ignore devnull. He cant help that hes a condescending prick its just part of who he is. I personally like guns and think gun phobia is pretty irrational, however I respect others opinions no matter how much of a jackass they are personally. As far as hunting goes, that is something that fucking infuriates me. Not the act of hunting, but the way some go about it. Sitting up in a treestand above plastic deer dummies waiting for a real one to come along so you can just fucking shoot it is not only unsporting and ethically wrong, but it makes you a pussy. Same for popping one from like 300 yards with a rifle. If you absolutely have to kill an animal to feel like a man or whatever....at least hunt it like a man. Use a bow you fat fuck.

As a vegetarian I have no use for hunting as plants and stuff don't wonder around much.. but I also respect people that actually kill what they eat vs people that don't, to me it is more responsible in a way.

as long as you plan on eating what you kill, then hunt away. otherwise it's just douchey...that said, i killed a Grouse two years ago with a rock. I felt like shit, he was looking right at me and knew what was happening I know it. god damned bird why didn't you just run away...

i do like guns though
