I did about 13 years ago,and to no avail. But I keep hearing about a potent blend called "Spice",as well as a few others. Is the shit legit? Or does it,too,smell and taste like burning play-dough? I mean,does it get you high? Maybe make some recommendations?

Fuck that laboratory shit. Even if it works, it sucks that people have to burn up man-made chemicals when there's a natural product right fucking there.

man-made chemicals? Hmmm....you mean like LSD,Amphetamine,etc.-Say,isn't all that stuff illegal?

it works, but it might not be good for you. anything jwh-x containing is game, but again, even the guy who discovered the compounds recommends people just smoke weed because it's safer.

Spice works to a point... but I think it's dodgier than they make out, I smoked it for a while when everywhere was dry, it's been banned now though.

Does get you high though, especially if you eat it, tastes like vanilla.

They're synthesized compounds. Just like the are compounds in the natural stuff.

Yeah, not regulated and probably not always accurately measured. But it's not like you're smoking random chemicals. They're varieties of cannabinoids, like in pot, or like the ones your body produces naturally. I'm more worried about the dangers of burning the sticks and shit that they put the compounds on.

BUT I think K2 can be too strong. It's much easier to overdo it, more likely to give you a headache or make you nauseous.

Anyway, yeah Bloog. K2 is legit. Try to get it from a head shop, cause there are apparently a few scam internet sites. But it WILL mess you up, and it's extremely similar to pot. I think weed is safer, less harsh, more predictable--the obvious choice. But K2 is legal in all but 14 or so states.

As somebody who thinks the whole natural drug vs. man-made drug is pretentious hogwash, I get sketched out by K-2 simply because it seems designed and marketed to do something specific rather than just do what it does best, it's sort of forced. I'm drunk, and I can't say it any better than that.

given the plethora of weed available where i live, i just don't see the point. if i lived somewhere that wasn't awash in marijuana i might feel differently.

Definitely works, I sampled some Cloud 10 and it was great! I think the only real advantage to using it is for people with jobs or probation that drug test randomly, but it was around one night so I gave it a go. As for safety, who knows, there's been zero human research done so....may be a bit of a health risk. What isn't though? I don't know why anyone would choose it over actual weed unless you had to.

Now that "Legal" cocaine bath salt stuff, that shit's dangerous. Way, way stronger than normal speed, I've seen a bunch of hospitalizations and shit where I live. I think people are like, "Oh, fake coke, how strong can this be? I'll do a little extra." Shit's like 10x more potent than coke, you could easily die or go on a multi-day no sleep bender that end's with personal/legal problems, something else I've seen occur, sadly.

a few of you have made the argument that if actual weed is available,then just smoke it. And I agree. BUT-the price of this pot-proxy junk is like,35.00 per half ounce(?),so I figured that sounded like a good deal,if the shit actually worked. Actual pot is a smidge more expensive,y'know?

well, there's that. the prices i've seen for faux-pot out here were generally around the same as those for cheap weed, which is why i say that it seems pointless. at that huge of a discount, i'd have to consider it, but i suspect my respiratory system would hate it. it barely puts up with pot, and i had to quit smoking tobacco ages ago.
