Any ILFers in Boston interested in doing some music?

I have more or less everything that could be needed to record an album/ep, but I know nothing about recording. I have a ton of ideas for things but just cant figure out how to get them recorded/mixed/mastered/whatever.

So, is anyone that knows how to record and all that interested in making some music? Any instrument you play is cool, but drums would be a plus since I'm not that good and don't know any drummers in Boston.

I have an electronic drum set, bass, bass amp, guitar, guitar amp or two, several guitars, a few cheap mics, keyboard, violin, a couple ocarinas, recording interface, etc.

jrmy and I are down RI, but that's not too far. It would be cool to get together and jam sometime. Jrmy definitely has recording skillz. Timewise, it's gonna be a little rough for me for now because I have a 11-week-old son and he sucks up a lot of time. When he's a little older, I'll have more time.

I'm in much the same boat, though my son is 4 years old. And my recording skills are pretty much Garageband-centric! To really get a good jam-out recording, it would be ideal to have something with more inputs than my little M-Audio FastTrack Pro. But it would be totally cool to get with ILFers IRL for rocking out.

Right after I posted that I went to a meeting where I was informed by my boss that our pay cycle is being deffered for 2 weeks - essentially I'm not getting paid for the last 2 weeks of work - (and this right after my rent increased...) so I can't travel or do anything else that requires me to spend money on gas or whatever for a month or so. That paycheck was supposed to be the one to finally put me in the positive... now I'm further in the negative than before...

Still interested though. Just not for a little while.

Trying to get my own company off the ground so maybe once I start getting some income from that it will be easier.

On the subject of recording, I have the FastTrack Pro 2 so one more input but that's it I think. I don't really know how to use it or the software at all.
