Exercise Challenge

So, I like working out a lot and I thought I'd give everyone a little challenge.

Here it is:

Beginning at 10 - or more - increase the number or pushups you do every day by 5. It doesn't matter how many sets it takes you, if it takes you 10 sets of 1 to do 10 pushups over the course of a whole day that's fine.

So, if you want to participate, post the number you are starting at - anything 10 or higher - and then below it the number you are up to. (If you started at 10, and your most recent day was 50 then your entire post would be "Start: 10, Current: 50") You can't miss a day - but if you do, the next day you have to do 5 more than you would have been up to (so instead of the 5 more on the day you missed, and 5 more the day after, you are doing 15 more).

i havnt tried in years but i think i could barely do maybe 3 my wrists are fucked up from guitar :lol:

Nice. I did that a while back. I actually got up to 126 in a set. But then I hurt my back while rock climbing and was out of commission for a while. It sucked. And I lost all of my endurance that I had gained.

When I took my PT test for the Fire Academy I had 46 in 60 seconds (not very good, but good for me). I'll start doing this as well. Been out of the academy for like 2 months now, so I've probably gotten weaker. Damn bass playing doesn't help.

HAHA yea, the very same. I forgot I posted here like 20 minutes after it happened. Pretty sure I was in the car headin' to the ER at that very moment. I called my boss and said I would be late, called my mom while the cop was getting info from us, and then posted to my ILF family. I have my priorities in line, no doubt.

Start: 15...could do more, but you gotta think about this in the long range. Next thursday with be 50.

Without even reading this thread i'd started exercising back up again today... I started at 15 though... Ah well, i'll half assed play along.

ILF is the best. I hardly go on the UG forums at all anymore, which is where I used to spend a huge amount of time. Everyone is a jerk over there.
