Dear Brits

To all you brits on the forum.

This year I was one of the many people who spent 4 and a half hours refreshing the Glastonburyfestivals.co.uk site and the ticket selling site trying to get a ticket and not succeeding.

I really, really, really want to go to Glastonbury this year for several reasons which I won't list. There will be resale tickets in spring but I have to be realistic.

Has anyone had any experience with the Glasto resales? Do they go as fast/are they as impossible to acquire?

And are their any other possible back-up festivals in the UK or Ireland which won't sell out before spring? If these don't exist I might have to just go cry in a corner

Reading will sell out as soon as tickets go on sale... Leeds Festival wont but I wouldn't wanna go there if it were me... not the nicest place from what i've heard.

Donnington and Knebworth are more Metal Orientated so probably not your thing... There is an Indie festival called... Bestival? That might not, never tried to get tickets myself.

Isle of White Festival is another option if you're willing to get a Ferry over (Not far) V Festival is a very commercial fest if you wanna pay for that... not easy to get tickets for either I don't think.

There's one more indie one but I can't think of its name right now...
