Fake ID
Im 18, but by the good state of florida, im 22.
it scans, it may just be perfect.

Any recommendations on what (or not) to do?
Im stoked for all the over age shows.
and drinking is ok i guess..

I never had a Fake ID but I did try and get served before I was old enough and I can tell you one thing... it's mainly confidence, as soon as I knew I was 18 (drinking age here) I didn't get ID'd at all, I didn't even look my age but I knew I was 18 so it was just like buying anything.

But when I was served under age, if there's a choice of who serves you, pick someone who looks like the sorta person you could get on with and have a few drinks or, the older female that you can flirt with a bit.

Don't try and memorize little tricks, you'll cock it up, act natural, be yourself and treat it like anything else, you are 22 (Oh, do memorize your 'birth day' though, that's an easy way to get caught) and you're buying some beer or you're going into a gig.

One thing I do, if I think someone is going to ID me is have it in hand with the cash and just willingly give it to them, saves them asking and makes it look like you're more willing to hand it over as you know nothings wrong... not sure if that would hinder or work for you underage... but works for me as they normally hand it back straight off.

And Grow the Beard if you can ^^^ or just shave your pet and get some glue, same thing. Get some Stilts too oh and put some fake tattoos and scars on and get an old man trilby hat with glasses & nose combo... you'll look inconspicuous and dangerous.

i suppose clerks scan your id to see if you're old enough to buy alcohol?
i'd be paranoid enough to get a fake ID just to make sure they're not recording and databasing my purchases with my real id.

You just made me realise a Great point, don't fucking use it any place you plan to go when you are old enough, my friend did that and the day he was old enough to not need it he went there with his real ID andddd Barred.

the scanning thing though. ID's here have barcodes on the back that you can scan, and there supposed to come up with the info thats presented on the front, age and whatnot.

Yeah, I knew this one guy who got a card to get booze for a party but the name he got put on it was 'Mc Lovin' Oh wait no that's Superbad...

i used to work a beer cart at a hockey arena. they are really strict, and they have books they put out every year with a picture of all the variations of every state's ID's. if it's quality, thats one thing, but certain places are crazy. my brother got his taken away at a strip club a while back because the guy knew that some random kid with a california ID in florida was pretty sketchy. but yeah, be confident. if you act nervous, they'll know something's up.

The bar at one of the nearby bowling alleys does the whole scan thing. Bartender scans a girls id. The bartenders information popped up.

The girl was using the bartenders id, which she had found somewhere in the bowling alley a month prior and promptly pocketed.


Needless to say, she got banned from the bar. And the bowling alley.

Oh and weed is legal sort of.

After turning 21, I bought my first booze.

Which fucking sucks because I was getting it free before. >.>

This is the truth Never had fake id´s though, I had a pretty big beard when I was like 15 or something like that..
