fine... looper/blender pedal in progress

i didn't want to discuss this yet, but whatever... i'll keep the fine details to myself for the time being.

so, yeah. i play keyboards and make computer music, etc and i've always believed that the ability to mix different signals together is extremely important - clean or not. though for the most part in the guitar/bass playing world, mixing clean/effected is probably the most sought combination. i've been trying to think of a way to make something that does that but stands out a bit - obviously there are a bunch of clean/loop blend pedals out there already...

the idea came to me the other night! it's almost like a weird "swiss army knife" pedal - with it you'd be able to use it as:
1. a clean boost
2. a clean boost with 2 presets
3. a true bypass loop
4. a true bypass loop with clean blend and/or boost
6. a momentary feedback loop with clean blend and/or boost
7. a feedback loop with momentary non-feedback with clean blend and/or boost
8. a boost > bypass loop and a clean blend and/or boost
9. a boost > bypass loop with feedback options and a clean blend and/or boost
10. possibly rig it up to be a weird oscillating overdrive/fuzz??

edit: i should point out that you couldn't do all of those at once... lol

that's it for now.

That sounds like a great tool-pedal for on the pedalboard! :joy:

although you can't perform all ten options at once (unless you buy 10 of them  ), it still sounds like a super versatile and awesome creative tool.

Excellent idea. As weird as it is, my main love for the Utter Stutter is that all my pedals work regardless of the thing being engaged, will this share that feature?

if you need it for that purpose, then yes.
if you need to use it as a true bypass looper, then it would function differently. it will depend on how you need/want to use it

These would be enough for me.

oh yeah i forgot. it'll have a phase switch...
the momentary switch for the feedback will be a remote switch as well so i can fit everything in a tafm sized enclosure.

3 pots, 3 toggles, 3 footswitches, 5 jacks
possibly 2 internal dip switches, though i'm sure they'd be necessary

Awesome! This sounds like your goal is to fit as much win as possible to a normal enclosure. Good policy

By the way..what size enclosure will this be in? I checked back in the original post and didn't see any mention of this... :poke:
