If so, first impressions? I feel like the vibe is COMPLETELY different from Fallout 3. Not bad, just different. Definitely satisfied so far though :thumb: (if slightly sleep deprived)

What is the story arc on this one? I just finished fallout 3 in like a couple of days and I will definably pick this one up.

I really want to play it, but I think I'm going to hold out for a bit, I've got a bunch of games I haven't finished yet.

Yep I got it...really like it so far, but kinda annoyed...it seems like you have to pay WAY more attention to your character build (getting stats and such JUST RIGHT) otherwise you're kinda..screwed.. :grumpy:

Have it but haven't played it yet.

If it feels completely different from FO3 it's because FO3 was made by the elder scrolls team and NV is made by the original fallout 1/2 team.
Excited to start it but I want to finish RDR first.

I heard you can shoot things in the groin again, just like the old Fallouts.

After playing about 3 or 4 hours into the game..I can say that the faction system gets really confusing..I won't spoil anything..but sometimes you get a quest that, depending on how you complete it, shifts the dynamic of how you are seen by all of the factions/clans in the Mojave Wasteland.

I did! I'm so down with Fallout, I skipped school yesterday and used all that time to play New Vegas.

I didn't really like that it feels like you're just playing an expansion to FO3, but I love that you can actually look down the sights to yr weapon.

Anyone playing on Hardcore mode? I couldn't hack it and reverted to pussy mode after a while, I'll do HC for my second playthrough.

you guys that have it--is it really as buggy as the reviews are saying?

I've played about 5 hours into it and, so far, it's not any buggier than FO3 was.
You get ocassional hang-ups in loading screens and sometimes NPCs and enemies get a bit 'hung-up' in their AI routes...but nothing game-breaking that I've seen so far.

I've experienced a few bugs, frozen load screens, and one where your arms are placed higher/lower than they should be.

Save a lot just in case. There was one bug where this guy who was essential to the mission just stopped doing anything, you couldn't talk to him and he wouldn't move, and if you moved away from where you were supposed to stand the whole town turns against you so I had to load an old save.
