So I just checked my bank account and there are three one dollar withdrawls from paypal. I just recently added a card and just bought something from Tom...is this somehow a fee or is something going wrong as it does on that thing?

It's standard procedure when changes are made to an account (adding/changing cc's/banks) to make sure you actually have money/credit to back up your purchases.
They charge a small amount to verify that you are who you say you are and have the $$$.
It's refunded after a few days.

Luckily, I have overdraft protection. MY wallet is heart after gettin a Velcroscillator.
