I put it on everything. Right now, I have the following:

Frank's Red Hot - old standby, great on sweet potato fries
Tabasco - I love this stuff, especially when it's "aged" (aka old) because it gets sweeter (maybe as the vinegar evaporates?)
Cholula - both regular and chipotle, not bad for cheap tacos
Tapatio - I think I stole this from a 24 hour Mexican restaurant one weekend... another cheap taco necessity
Sriracha - lol cock sauce
Pickapeppa Sauce - come to find out it's more of a Jamaican A1 than a hot sauce
Marie Sharp's Fiery Hot - the hottest one they make with only whole peppers, no extracts added... that's cheating
Blair's After Death - this puts all the other commercial sauce I've tried to shame in how utterly painful it is, too bad it doesn't taste that great

I also have two sauces that I made myself... one with Seven Pots peppers (given to me) and coriander, the other with Red Savina habaneros (grew them myself) and basil. I use a basic recipe... simmer in vinegar with garlic, add a little salt, pepper, cumin, etc., and blend the solids. Add the vinegar back in to achieve desired consistency and take a shot of the rest.

I like hot sauce. I can also appreciate a hot sauce that isn't very hot at all, but tastes delicious all-the-same.

garlic tabasco

i had some "big papi" a couple weekends ago (some hot sauce endorsed by some baseball player with the same name)....shit is ridic. i was sweating for like 30 minutes. i had to steal some of my friends kids gummi vitamins in their bathroom to calm down.

The Thais make this evil red paste that's pounded chilis and essence of evil. It's like tear gas, napalm, and the stuff the Alien bleeds all mixed together with a kick in the nuts and some harsh language, and they stick it in an innocuous looking little dish next to your plate so you eat it...


It's called numb prick* (or dumb prick I guess, and in you'd have to be a ... to eat it )

Franks just goes good on everything...especially breakfast.
I got this stuff called ring of fire while I was in San Diego, goes great with chili and most of your standard mexican food.

My favorite is from a brand calle pit bull hot sauce...it's called "revenge". It goes down kinda sweet/tangy and then a few seconds later it kicks your ass (but not too badly). Awesome stuff.
Their website seems to be gone...I hope they are still around

I wonder if it's anything like that oily, burnt garlic and crushed hot pepper stuff at the sushi/Hawaiian/random place I go to weekly. I'll have to ask what they call it. It's good.

I purchased habanero jelly at a farmer's mart the other day and it is amazing. Flavorful and sweet and spicy to no end.
