Yeah, I see them go for $30-$80 around here, so $50 seems pretty fair.

I've seriously been considering the same thing.

Doesn't seem like a bad idea.

Here in Oregon I get a string change for 15 bucks with intonation done to too it (when I am lazy)

A complete set up should run around 40 bucks including a trust rod adjustment if needed.

Any other work should be based on time and effort put into too it because all instruments are different and take longer or shorter times to work on.

I'll usually wire up a guitar for $40 plus parts. A setup will run $25-50 depending on how much time and frustration :) is involved.

I charge $50, unless the dude is using a Floyd Rose, in which case I tell him to get his ass out of my sight before I break his guitar.

I fucking hate tremolos.

Either they go out of tune as soon as you touch the bar, go out of tune as soon as you bend a string, or they take 3 hours to restring.

I haven't restrung my RG, I had a local shop do it when I first got it.

It hasn't been out of tune since then but it severely needs new strings...I got some DRs, about time to do that.
